OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team dropped their final conference contest of the season to No. 17 Geneseo on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Goalkeeper Emma Allen made four saves in the first half, before adding two more in a scoreless second half.
• The Knights recorded all three of the goals in the first half of the contest.
• Oswego had one strong scoring opportunity in the first 45 minutes, when Audrey Burbidge attempted to send the ball from outside left of the box. Burbidge's shot was blocked before reaching the keeper.
• The senior tallied three other shots, two of which were on-goal.
• Lynsey Roth nearly scored with 19:39 remaining in the second half. Roth's shot came from the left side of the box, and was sent just below the crossbar. Knights' keeper Emily Janiszewski was able to get her finger tips on it, denying the Laker goal.
• Senior Chloe Lonergan owned the Lakers' final scoring opportunity with 15 minutes remaining in the second half. Lonergan's shot was sent directly on net where the keeper bobbled the ball, before ultimately absorbing it.
• The Lakers recorded six shots, four of which were on goal.

Oswego returns to Laker Soccer Field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday as they host Hamilton College in their final contest of the 2018 season.
