BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Behind 20 kills from junior outside hitter
Shauna O'Flaherty and 18 from sophomore right side hitter
Melissa Lussier, the Oswego State Volleyball team split a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon to secure a spot in the 2018 SUNYAC Volleyball Tournament. The Lakers have earned the sixth seed and will return to Brockport on Tuesday, October 30 for a 6 p.m. matchup with the Golden Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Against Brockport, Oswego held leads in every set but late pushes by the Golden Eagles gave them the edge.
- O'Flaherty led the way with 11 kills while Lussier chipped in 10.
- Senior Alison Berger had 23 assists while fellow classmate Alison Sullivan had four blocks.
- On the defensive side, Emily Costa had 15 digs.
- In the Cortland match, O'Flaherty had nine kills and 18 digs while Mira Legnon-Bozman had six kills and 17 digs.
- Sullivan had six kils and six blocks and Berger had a team-high 19 assists.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego heads to Aurora, N.Y. on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match with the Wells College Express.
