POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team unsuccessful in North County as it fell to Potsdam on Saturday afternoon.
Mackenzie Schaffner was able to notch a goal in the Lakers' efforts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears got out to an early 1-0 lead, as they were able to notch a header in the 16th minute. The Lakers would tie the game before the half would run out.
- Mackenzie Schaffner would tally the Lakers lone goal at 39:50 as she was able to find a Chloe Lonergan pass, as she sent the ball from the left side to right of the goalie.
- Schaffner now has three goals on the season, good enough for second on the team.
- Freshman Maggie Riordan put up two great shots, one stopped by the Bears' goalkeeper, the other going just wide of its target.
- Five other Lakers tallied shots-on-goal, while Lynsey Roth and Grace Mueller each tallied two.
- Oswego's goalkeeper Emma Allen had a career-high 16 saves in the contest.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers remain on the road as they will faceoff against Buffalo State in a conference contest slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Friday.
