HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Oswego was able to hold an aggressive Cardinals' offense to two goals in the first period, as goaltender Rachael Farmer made 17 saves.
  • Kate Randazzo, Eryn Stewart and Philomena Teggart all had four shots apiece, aiding in the Lakers 35 shots total.
  • After two Plattsburgh goals in the second period, freshman Hannah Lindey was put between the pipes for the final 20 minutes of the contest.
  • The Lakers' strongest scoring opportunities came from the stick of Teggart, as she tallied two powerful power play shots back-to-back, inside the final two minutes of the contest.
  • Teggart's first shot came from the blue line as she sent a wrister on net as Kassi Abbott absorbed the shot into her bread basket with 1:44 remaining in the final period.
  • Farmer tallied 30 saves over her 40 minutes in net, nearing her season-best 34 saves against Buffalo State on Nov. 10.
  • Lindey amassed five saves during her 20 minutes on the ice, not allowing a single Cardinal goal.
