OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team dropped its second contest of the season to No. 2/2 Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon.
Annika Neufeld-Kreider tallied the lone Laker goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neufeld-Kreider put the Lakers on the board first as she was able to get the upper-hand on Plattsburgh's Kassi Abbott.
- The freshman, who now has three goals on the season, was helped along by Natalie Giglio and Avery Webster.
- Following the Laker goal, Oswego held a 1-0 lead for just over 17 minutes.
- Classmates Hannah Lindey and Cassie Shokar each appeared in the net for the Lakers. Lindey saw 40 minutes of play, stopping 27 Cardinal shots.
- Shokar came in as relief to start the third period. During her 20 minutes between the pipes, Surrey, B.C. native recorded 15 saves.
- Eryn Stewart and Bailey Thomas each recorded two blocked shots, helping Oswego to record 12.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers hit the road as they take in the Hamilton Continentals at 6 p.m. on Friday in a nonconference contest.
