HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite two scoreless periods, sophomore Philomena Teggart was able to beat the Bengals' net minder eight minutes into the final period, with a goal that would prove to be the game-winner.
- The Pickering, Ont. native currently ties for first on the team in goals (3), while ranking second in points (5).
- Teggart's goal was assisted by Victoria Rankin, for her second of the season.
- Katelynn Ferguson sealed the deal for the Lakers with less than three minutes remaining in the third period, aided by Aislinn McAleer and Bailey Thomas.
- Farmer proved to be stout in goal, recording a season-high 26 saves for Oswego, holding Buffalo State to a scoreless contest.
- Captain Kate Randazzo led the team in shots, putting up eight, while Jean-marie Padden recorded six.
- The Lakers held a 45-26 shot advantage, while owning a 33-27 lead in faceoff wins.
- Oswego holds a commanding lead (20-9-1) in the all-time series with Buffalo State, winning their last two meetings.
