ALFRED, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's basketball team suffered a loss at Alfred University to end the fall semester on Saturday afternoon. A pair of five-point advantages for the Saxons in the two middle periods were the difference in the tilt.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Four Lakers scored double digits, with three of those shooting better than 50% from the field.
- Raiven Encarnacion and Quincey Zimmerman each tallied 16 points, with the former shooting 50-percent from the field and the latter scoring at a 60-percent clip.
- The other duo of double-figure scorers also went for double doubles, as Samantha Britton and Rachael Windhausen both collected 10 boards.
- Britton was able to notch 15 points while Windhausen had 12 points on five field goals and two free throws.
- As a team, the Lakers owned the points in the paint category (30-24) and second-chance points (11-9).

Oswego will return to action for one final game before the New Year, traveling to SUNY Canton at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29.
