OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team suffered back-to-back loses on the weekend. A few Lakers were able to tally points in the team's efforts.

- Results: Saturday- Oneonta 9, Oswego 0 I Sunday- St. John Fisher 6, Oswego 3
- Records: Oneonta (6-0), St. John Fisher (3-0), Oswego (1-4)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In Saturday's matchup in Oneonta, the Lakers were unable to tally any set wins, several were able to tally points in their matches. Senior Samantha Spence came close to a singles match win, as she went 2-6, 4-6 against Oneonta's Alexandra Dratch.
- In Sunday's game against the Cardinals of St. John Fisher, the Lakers were able to get three points.
- Samantha Spence earned two of the Lakers points, one coming in doubles and one in singles. Spence along with classman Bridget Bender were able to claim their doubles matchup 8-5.
- Spence's second win came over the Cardinals' Amanda Thongsirimonghoun (6-2, 6-0), for her second singles win of the season.
- The other Oswego point was added by Alesha Pilon and Erin Vargo in their 8-3 doubles win.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to the courts at 3 p.m. Friday as the travel to take on the Plattsburgh Cardinals.
