HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers went down 14-10 in the first set before going on a 15-7 run to end the set and grab momentum.
- Sophomore Melissa Lussier had three kills and fellow right side hitter Sarah Massie had a pair to anchor the offense.
- In the second set, the Lakers were in control the whole way behind three kills from Sullivan and three from Lauren Fie.
- The third set was a back and forth affair with the teams needing extra points to decide the outcome at 28-26.
- Senior outside hitter Ariana Wright had five kills in the final frame to help Oswego take the match.
- Junior setter Julia Flohr recorded another double-double with 17 assists and 11 digs.
- Wright (eight digs), Shauna O'Flaherty (12 digs), and Emily Costa (eight digs) all chipped in to help the strong Oswego defense.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to Maxcy Hall tomorrow for a matchup at 12 p.m. with Geneseo and at 2:30 p.m. with the host Bears of Potsdam.
