POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Oswego State Volleyball team dropped a pair of conference matches on Saturday on the road at Potsdam.  With the setbacks the team falls to 11-6 on the season and 1-2 in the SUNYAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Oswego got eight kills from sophomore Melissa Lussier and five blocks from junior Lauren Fie against Geneseo.
• Offense was the key to the contest as the Lakers were out-hit in kills by a 46-22 margin.
• Junior Shauna O'Flaherty had a match-high 13 digs.
• Against the host Bears, senior Alison Sullivan had seven kills and hit .428 and Lussier added seven of her own.
• The Lakers had chances in the second and third sets, but the Bears pulled out two-point wins in each.
• Sophomore Emily Costa had 17 digs in the defeat.

The Lakers head home for a 7 p.m. tilt with Clarkson University on Wednesday evening.
