OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Lakers claimed their second victory of the season in a thrilling come-from-behind game against Grove City in the first contest of the Fredonia Tournament. Junior Corrina Chambers scored the game-winning goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation to complete the comeback and keep the Lakers perfect on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Corrina Chambers' game-winning goal came with 1:46 remaining in the contest. She now leads the Lakers with most goals on the season with two. Chambers' goal was assisted by Gab Garcea, her first of the year.
• After trailing 1-0, Lynsey Roth was able to find the back of the net just 2:58 into the second half, as her ball bounced over the goalie's head. This is the Liverpool, N.Y. native's first goal of the season. Her goal was assisted by senior Audrey Burbidge.
•  Grove City's Krista Heckman was the first to make the board, as she was able to capitalize on a break-away opportunity. Grove City would hold the lead for the first half.
• That was the only hiccup for Laker goalkeeper Emma Allen, who made three saves in net. At 2-0, the senior now has nine saves on the season.
• The Lakers' offense was strong throughout, leading the way in shots-on-goal (8-4) and total shots (17-13).
• Oswego has made a habit of coming back in 2018, winning both of its tilts 2-1 after trailing 1-0 in the early going of each.
