OSWEGO, N.Y.
- The Oswego State men's and women's swimming and diving teams won every event on Saturday afternoon against the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks en route to a pair of victories.

THE BASICS
  • Women's Final Score:  Oswego 125, Roberts Wesleyan 77
  • Men's Final Score:  Oswego 111, Roberts Wesleyan 24

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Laura Gostomski won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:18.96) and was a part of both winning relays (200-yard IM and 200-yard freestyle) for the women.
  • Hannah Jensen (50-yard freestyle) and Riley Synan (100-yard fly) also contributed with an individual event win and participation on both winning relays.
  • Vanessa Moss won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:03.13, Julia Lamb the 200-yard freestyle in 2:04.75 and Emily Ross claimed first in the 200-yard IM in 2:24.17.
  • Other event winners for the Lakers were Allegra Neglia (100-yard freestyle), Kelsey Oliverio (100-yard backstroke) and Abigail Mullett (500-yard freestyle).
  • Freshman Jess Azoulay set personal bests in both the 1-meter diving and 3-meter diving events while classmate Claire Morgan notched one on the 3-meter board.
  • On the men's side, Pete Kovalovsky won the 100-yard freestyle (54.47), Brendan Beutel the 100-yard fly (55.60) and Colt Manis the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.84).
  • Other event winners were Nate McBurney (1,000-yard freestyle), Alex Davie (200-yard freestyle), Nick Weber (50-yard freestyle), JJ Alaniz (200-yard IM), Walker Snowden (500-yard freestyle) and Cameron Ellis (1-meter & 3-meter diving).
  • The Roberts Wesleyan programs are in their second year of existence.
WHAT'S NEXT

The divers head down to Ithaca College Sunday for an invitational and then both squads are back in action at 1 p.m. on February 2 at the Potsdam dual meet.
