OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's basketball team dropped a 59-40 contest to Buffalo State on Saturday afternoon.
Ramatoulaye Sy recorded a double-double in the tilt, her fifth in the last seven games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A first-half deficit of 19 proved to be the difference as the Oswego adjustments at the half led to an even 26-26 final 20 minutes.
- In the third quarter, the Lakers outscored the Bengals 18-14 to shrink the margin but were unable to close the margin in the fourth quarter.
- Sy's double-double came on 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
- Leading all Lakers scorers was Raiven Encarnacion with 12 points.
- Senior Rachael Windhausen filled the stat sheet with six rebounds, five points, two assists, two steals and a game-high three blocks.
- Off the bench, Tatyana Fish, Logan Castiglione, Megan Steinman, Amanda Altes and Sarah Feminella combined for 13 rebounds. Castiglione, Steinman and Altes all added a field goal as well.

Oswego has two days off before traveling down state to face the New Paltz Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
