- Plattsburgh's win was powered by a three-goal second period, in which three different Cardinals tallied goals.
- Farmer went 50-for-54 between the pipes, tying her for fifth-most saves for an individual in a single-game.
- The Grand Island, N.Y. native made 15 saves in the final stanza, surrendering zero goals in the last 20 minutes.
- Oswego's defense was strong despite the loss, as the team registered 21 blocks, led by Avery Webster's five.
- The Lakers were especially strong on the penalty kill, as it went 3-0, stopping all 17 of the Cardinals' 5-on-4 shots.
