NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Oswego State men's basketball team used a 28-5 run early in the second half to pull away from New Paltz on the road to secure a comfortable 67-46 victory. The win makes it eight straight and keeps the Lakers undefeated in SUNYAC play at 12-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The crucial run came as New Paltz had tied the game at 25 with five straight points early into the second half after Oswego led 25-20 at the break.
- Senior Tyler Pierre put in seven points and guard Liam Sanborn drained three 3-pointers to give Oswego a 53-30 lead with 10:29 remaining in the contest.
- It was a low-scoring first half with the teams tied at 10-10 nine minutes into the game, with all ten scored by Pierre (6) and Joe Sullivan (4).
- A 7-0 run started by a Tim Marshall 3-pointer helped the Lakers take the lead into the half.
