HOW IT HAPPENED
- The team got off to a hot start as Gillespie recorded a tally less than three minutes into the contest. Gillespie's fifth goal was unassisted and would prove to be the eventual game-winner.
- Late into the second period Joseph Molinaro pushed the Oswego lead to two goals with the addition of his power play goal at 16:55. Anthony Passero owned the lone assist on the Mississagua, Ont. native's score.
- Assistant captain Josh Zizek sealed the deal on the Laker victory with his power play goal at 12:35 in the final period. Earning the assists on Zizek's tally was Gillespie and Max Novick.
- Goaltender Cedric Hansen padded away a season-high 26 shots during his 60 minutes between the pipes.
- The Lakers owned a large shot advantage, 35-26.
- Oswego continues its power play dominance going 3-for-4.
