POTSDAM, N.Y. - Senior outside hitter
Sarah Massie recorded a match-high 15 kills, including five in the final set, to lead the Oswego State volleyball team to a five-set victory over SUNY Potsdam. Oswego improves to 16-6 and, more importantly, moves to 3-2 in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tied 2-2 in sets, Oswego came out firing in the pivotal fifth set with 10 kills on 18 swings and scored the first 11 points to put the match away.
- Massie (15-3-41) and fellow outside hitter Shauna O'Flaherty (14-3-38) were pacing the offense with 29 kills between the duo.
- Senior middle hitter Lauren Fie recorded her second double-double of the season with 11 kills and 11 digs while adding four aces and four blocks.
- Julia Flohr came up with her third double-double in the last four matches with 45 assists and 12 digs.
- Junior Emily Costa had 17 digs and three aces for the Lakers.
- Serving was key in the match as Oswego held an 18-3 edge in aces.
- Melissa Lussier had seven kills, eight aces, and 12 digs as she came up just short of a triple-double.
- The Lakers avenge last season's 3-0 defeat to the Bears.
