HOW IT HAPPENED
- At 5:54, Plattsburgh recorded what proved to be the day's only goal.
- A little more than 25 minutes later, starting goalie Emma Allen was part of a collision and had to be relieved by Portalatin.
- The junior spent the final 58:11 between the pipes, with the defense not allowing a shot on-goal the remainder of the first half.
- In the second stanza, Portalatin stopped all five on-target chances she faced from Plattsburgh, keeping the Lakers within striking distance throughout.
- Lynsey Roth had half of the Lakers' six shot attempts, while Corinna Chambers, Graisa Madden and Maggie Riordan had one apiece. Roth and Riordan accounted for the two on-goal opportunities for Oswego.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers host the final weekend of the regular season, starting with a 3 p.m. matchup on Friday against the Blue Devils of Fredonia.
