HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles struck first with a power play goal at 11:09 of the first period to go up 1-0.
- Five minutes later, senior Jody Sullivan made it rain teddy bears when he scored on assists from Molinaro and Chris MacMillan.
- Zizek got the game winner at only 1:39 of the second when he found the back of the net from Molinaro and defenseman Max Novick.
- Oswego notched their first power-play goal of the season on their next goal as Travis Broughman scored his third of the season with assists from Molinaro and Anthony Passero.
- At 13:11, Colton Fletcher gave the Lakers some more insurance with a goal on assists from Passero and Carter Allen.
- Broughman, Molinaro and Passero now share the team lead in points with six on the season.
- The Lakers outshot the Golden Eagles 34-22 while faceoffs were even at 27 apiece.
- Senior David Richer made 21 saves in the contest and helped bring the team's goals per game average down to 1.3/game.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego hits the road for the first time this season to take on No. 2 Geneseo at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights took down Cortland by a 7-1 score this evening.
