PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - The Oswego State women's ice hockey team fought hard in Northeast Women's Hockey League action against No.1 Plattsburgh, but ultimately fell by a score of 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Plattsburgh started the scoring with a goal by Abby Brush assisted by Ivy Boric and Emma Kileen just three minutes into the contest and added two more goals in the period.
- Rachael Farmer stood tall in the crease with 19 saves in the first period.
- From that point on, the defense held Plattsburgh, a team that scores 5.2 goals per game, off the scoreboard.
- Oswego's defense shined as they recorded 10 blocked shots in the contest this afternoon.
- Oswego doubled Plattsburgh's shots in the second period with Kate Randazzo and Philomena Teggart leading the Lakers.
- Eryn Stewart showed her versatility with four shots on goal and one block.
- Amber Thomas led the Lakers in the faceoff circle, winning 11 draws.
- Rachael Farmer finished with 38 saves, tying her third best single-game performance in her collegiate career.
