BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Oswego traveled to Brockport to tip-off against the Golden Eagles in a SUNYAC championship rematch from last year where Oswego prevailed 55-50. In a hard fought battle all the way through, Oswego fell just short of the victory, losing their second straight by a single point, 68-67.
Colby Moultrie led Oswego with 20 points in just 20 minutes of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was even early as Brockport held a slight 10-9 edge seven minutes into the contest.
- A 16-5 Golden Eagle run over the next five minutes would give them their largest advantage (12) of the night at 26-14.
- The Lakers in the first half showed toughness in the paint with 10 second chance points while only allowing Brockport two.
- Oswego's Joe Sullivan laid in a buzzer beater in the first half to continue the Lakers run of 13-5 to close the score back to 36-32.
- Early in the second half, Golden Eagles pushed back out to a seven point lead three and a half minutes into action.
- Oswego fought back via a 9-2 run from 16:22-11:33 to get within one at 47-46.
- The Lakers went on a 12-2 run a few minutes later to take the lead at 58-55, with nine of those points coming from Moultrie three-pointers and 6:08 left on the clock.
- Brockport came right back with an 8-3 run over the next three minutes to play from in front heading down the stretch.
- The Lakers tied the contest three more times before the Golden Eagles converted a free throw in the final seconds for the decisive point.
- Jordan Brown led the way in rebounds with 12, three offensive and nine defensive.
- Senior Brandan Gartland (11), Sullivan (11) and Jeremiah Sparks (14) all reached double figures in scoring.

The Lakers will travel a short distance to take on the Geneseo Knights at 4:00 p.m. in the Kuhl Gymnasium on Saturday, December 7.
