Ramatoulaye Sy, the Oswego State women's basketball team defeated Brockport on the road by a 69-62 score on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego dominated the opening quarter behind 10 points from Sy, taking a 22-13 lead.
- Another 14-4 run to start the second quarter, behind eight points from Encarnacion, had the Lakers up 19 with 3:39 remaining in the half.
- The Golden Eagles made a late 9-1 run to make the score 37-26 at the break.
- Brockport stayed hot to open the third quarter, making a 17-4 run to take a 43-41 lead with 3:33 left.
- Three free throws from Erin Gantley and layups by Sy and Sydni Eure helped Oswego retake the lead at 50-46 heading into the final quarter.
- The hosts remained within a possession until a 3-pointer by Taylor Torchia and layup by Encarnacion put Oswego up 62-55 with 1:53 to go.
- Sy and Encarnacion hit 7-of-8 from the charity stripe coming down the stretch to seal the win.
- Eure also hit double figures with 10 points and added eight assists while Sy notched a double-double by adding 10 rebounds to her line.
- Oswego shot 47.8% from the floor while holding Brockport to 37.3%.
