OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team fell to No. 10 Williams College on Sunday.
Jean-marie Padden denied the Ephs a shutout, recording the lone Laker tally.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ephs went up a goal on the Lakers mid-way through the opening period as Amanda Reisman and Michaela O'Connor work their way into the offensive zone with a give-and-go which began as Avery Dunn collected the puck in the neutral zone. Reisman recorded the first period tally.
- Despite trailing heading into the second period, Padden knotted the game at one, with her goal that came at 10:11. The Cranford, N.J. native's goal was recorded as the redirected Leah Czerwinski's original deflection on Kate Randazzo's shot from the point.
- Williams regained their lead, one it would not again relinquish, as Abby Brustad recorded the game-winning tally with less than three minutes remaining in the middle stanza. The Ephs would go onto to notch two more unanswered goals.
- Netminder Cassie Shokar made 30 saves during her 60 minutes between the pipes.
- Oswego was strong on the penalty kill, going 4-for-4 when a man down.
- The teams evenly split faceoff wins, both with 25.

The Lakers return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday as they host the Cortland Red Dragons for their last regular season matchup.
