KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team defeated Keuka College 12-5 on the road Saturday. The Lakers put together a victory using runs of three and four goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego went up 2-1 early in the first quarter off goals by Bobby Emerson and Dan Doolan, while Kyle Bacon added an assist.
- Stringing together a four-goal run, the Lakers put the game away, with the game-winning goal coming off the stick of Brian Rowe with four seconds remaining in the opening-quarter.
- Doolan, Emerson and Tim Schof also owned goals in the run. Bacon put together another two assists in the scoring spurt.
- Emerson led the offense with four points on four goals, followed by Doolan with three goals, Schof with a goal and two assists and Bacon with his three assists.
- Rowe, along with Weston Gray had a two-goal game, while Evan Hollfelder was able to dish out two helpers.
- Rounding out the score sheet for the Lakers with an assist apiece was Hunter Brunelle and Jake Piccininni.
- Kyle O'Connor led the squad at the faceoff circle, going 15-18 on the day.
- In goal, Kevin O'Donnell earned his fourth win of the season, recording 13 saves. O'Donnell held Keuka scoreless in the final quarter, stopping five on-goal shots.
- The squad owned advantages in faceoff wins (16-19), shots and shots on-goal (58-33, 28-18), clears (23-17) and ground balls collected (39-15). They also were dominant in extra man opportunities, going 1-for-5 while holding the Wolves to 0-for-3.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers remain on the road, as they head to Utica College for another out-of-conference contest, slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
