CANTON, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team fell on the road to No. 18 St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon.
Tim Schof and
Bobby Emerson helped the squad to a 2-1 lead midway through the opening-quarter.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Schof gave the Lakers a quick 1-0 lead over the nationally-ranked Saints, recording a tally at 10:48, assisted by Evan Hollfelder.
- Emerson's goal at 6:03 gave Oswego its last lead of the contest (2-1), helped along by Dan Doolan's assist.
- After going scoreless through the second quarter, Hollfelder found his way onto the stat sheet once again, on a goal this time. The junior's score came unassisted with 7:59 remaining in the first half.
- Owning the Lakers' final score of the day was Caleb Alford, with an unassisted tally with 5:08 remaining in the contest.
- Hollfelder lead the team in shots (7), while Doolan put up the most on-goal attempts (4).
- In goal, Kevin O'Donnell made 14 saves, appearing in all 60 minutes for Oswego.
- The Lakers were efficient on the clear attempt, successfully converting 16-of-18 attempts.

Oswego remains on the road to take on the Brockport Golden Eagles in its first conference matchup of the 2019 season at 1 p.m. on Saturday,.
