CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team fell to the Cortland Red Dragons on Wednesday afternoon.
Tim Schof was responsible for the Lakers lone lead of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Following a game-opening Red Dragon tally less than two minutes into the contest, Schof would post a pair of goals to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead.
- The Pine Bush, N.Y. native's first score came unassisted at 12:44, with the second at 11 minutes helped along by Evan Hollfelder.
- After an 11-goal run by the host, Oswego put itself on the board once again, this time off the stick of Bobby Emerson. Emerson's man-up goal at 12:01 in the third quarter was assisted by Hollfelder.
- Dan Doolan helped to end the third quarter with a score, as Brian Rowe helped him along with 48 seconds remaining in the stanza.
- Emerson recorded completed his hat trick and added another to finish with four, all three coming in the final 15 minutes of the contest. His first score was once again on the extra-man opportunity, helped along by Hollfelder.
- The senior's second goal was assisted by Rowe at 8:06, with his final tally coming in the final 30 seconds, unassisted.
- Seamus Burns and Kevin O'Donnell tied for the team-lead in ground balls (3), while each accounted for a caused turnover.
- In goal, O'Donnell was just one save shy of his seaosn-high, finishing with 20 in 60 minutes played.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday, as they close out the regular season in a Senior Day matchup with the Oneonta Red Dragons.
