OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State baseball team bounced back into the win column in an impressive way, scoring 24 runs on St. Lawrence University at home on Wednesday afternoon. Oswego trailed after a Saints home run in the first inning but responded with nine-straight runs to gain control and never look back.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Over the course of the contest, the Lakers racked up 15 hits, paced by three apiece from Rocco Leone, Ryan Enos and Mike Dellicarri.
- Enos led Oswego with four runs scored and he matched Dellicarri in runs driven in with five.
- Dellicarri crossed the plate three times, as did Dylan Frawley and Lukas Olsson. Dellicarri missed a cycle by just a double, notching a homer, triple and base knock in five at-bats.
- Enos also homered while Leone closed out the Laker extra-base hits with a double.
- Frawley and Casey Gruarin each had two hits while Olsson and Brandon Nicholson rounded out the Oswego hits with a single apiece. Gruarin, Olsson and Justin Troelstra each had an RBI as well.
- Troelstra scored twice while Luke Simmons, Pat Regan and Jake Walsh crossed home once apiece.
- On the mound, Jake Jacobs earned the victory in 3.0 innings of work, striking out three while surrendering two earned runs.
- Dylan Wiley threw the next two innings in relief while Matt Zakala, Anthony Van Fossen, Ben Wilcox and Mike Di Salvo finished the game with an inning each. Van Fossen matched Jacobs' three Ks while Wiley fanned two Saint batters.
- The Laker defense was solid throughout the tilt, successfully handling 39 chances without an error.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego is scheduled to host St. John Fisher College at 4 p.m. on Friday to start a home-and-home series with the Cardinals.
