HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams were close over the course of the first 13 minutes of action with Oswego holding a narrow 21-20 lead.
- A 7-0 run with buckets by Sanborn, Gartland and Sullivan gave the Lakers their largest lead of the half at 28-20.
- Sullivan added four steals in the half to seven points to contribute on both ends of the floor.
- As has been the case multiple times this year, Oswego came screaming out of the gate as the second half got under way.
- After a Blue Devils' 3-pointer closed the gap to 28-26, Oswego went on a pivotal 16-0 run over the next six minutes to put the game away.
- Fredonia got not closer than 16 points the rest of the way, with Oswego pushing the lead to 23 on multiple occasions.
- Sullivan got a double-double by adding 11 rebounds to his stat line while newcomers Jordan Brown added eight points and Kaleb Cook scored seven.
- Senior Tim Marshall received a raucous ovation from the home crowd in returning from an injury to score four points.
