HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Jeremiah Sparks poured in 16 first-half points to help Oswego take a 49-31 lead into the break.
- Buffalo State made a 14-7 run to start the second half to close the score to 56-45 with 13:37 remaining.
- Oswego answered with a 10-0 run, culminating with a Jordan Brown offensive rebound and dunk to put the Lakers back up by 21 with 10 minutes to go.
- The lead stayed near 20 points the rest of the way as every time the Bengals made a run, Oswego answered.
- Sparks and senior Joe Sullivan led the Lakers with 18 points, with Sullivan adding 13 rebounds.
- Jordan Brown hit double digits with 16 points and eight rebounds while sophomore Julien Crittendon added 12 points off the bench on 4-of-6 shooting from distance.
