Quincey Zimmerman scored a career-high 24 points and four other Lakers reached double figures in sending Oswego past Buffalo State by a score of 79-67. Fellow seniors
Sydni Eure and
Morgan Wolanin posted double-doubles in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego got off to a strong 16-9 start in the first quarter by holding the visitors to just 16.7% shooting.
- Eure posted eight points in the opening quarter to lead the Lakers.
- The Bengals closed the lead to 19-18 with 2:56 remaining in the second quarter, but layups by Wolanin, junior Taylor Torchia and a 3-pointer by Raiven Encarnacion kept Oswego up 26-22 at the half.
- In the first two minutes of the third quarter, the Lakers pushed their lead to 11 on a pair of three's by Zimmerman and one from Encarnacion to make it 35-24.
- Midway through the quarter, a layup by Wolanin and another three from Zimmerman made it a 16-point lead and Oswego kept the lead to 13 heading into the last quarter.
- Buffalo State closed the game to 60-53 with 6:47 remaining in the contest, but a pair of Zimmerman 3-pointers helped push the lead back out to 11 and the teams traded buckets the rest of the way.
- Overall, Zimmerman hit 6-of-12 from deep and Encarnacion hit 3-of-6 in scoring 12 points while adding five assists.
- Eure finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Wolanin had 11 points and 10 boards.
- Torchia packed the stat sheet with 12 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
- The fast break was key for Oswego as they had a 24-16 edge in points.
