BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Laker women's basketball team made three runs at Buffalo State on the road, but were unable to take control of the contest in a 61-43 setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals stormed out to a 10-0 in the first five minutes.
- Seniors Erin Gantley, Morgan Wolanin and Quincey Zimmerman scored the next seven to bring Oswego back into it.
- Fellow senior Sydni Eure scored the final bucket of the quarter to make it a 12-9 deficit after one stanza.
- It was a similar story in the second as Buffalo State pushed out to a 12-point lead six minutes into the quarter.
- A 12-5 run, led by four from Eure, helped Oswego close to 31-26 at the half.
- Buffalo State made another run to begin the third, going up 46-28 before another 8-0 from the Lakers put Oswego in striking distance heading into the fourth.
- Behind 25 points from Liv Lebaron, the Bengals were able to extend out in the fourth quarter for the win.
- Junior Raiven Encarnacion led Oswego with 10 points while Eure had eight.
- Wolanin (7), Zimmerman (7) and Tatyana Fish (5) added some offense for the Lakers.
