FULTON, N.Y. - The Oswego State wrestling team led #14 Rochester Institute of Technology after the first six bouts but were unable to close out against a pair of second-ranked wrestlers from the Tigers in a 26-15 dual meet setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The match began at the 174-pound weight class.
- Oswego got off to a 3-0 lead by way of a 7-4 decision by Isaac Mathews over Ben Dougherty of the Tigers. Dougherty is listed among the honorable mention in the D3Wrestle.com ranking in the weight class.
- Freshman Colby Harblin made it 9-0 with a win by fall (1:09) at 184.
- RIT tied the match at 9-9 with a decision at 197 and a win by fall at 285.
- John DeConno won by forfeit at 125 and William Hardin II was decisioned (9-5) at 133 to keep Oswego up 15-12 after six matchups.
- RIT took a 10-2 major decision at 141 to take their first lead at 16-15.
- Junior Josh Bressette lost a close 4-3 decision at 149 to make it 19-15 heading into the final two premier matchups.
- At 157, Christian Gramuglia took on Kaidon Winters, ranked second nationally by both D3Wrestle.com and InterMatWrestle.com. Winters managed a 3-0 decision.
- In the final matchup, Oswego freshman Charlie Grygas, who had defeated Winters earlier in the fall season, battled second-ranked Dempsey King but suffered a 12-2 major setback for the final scoring.
- In exhibition matches, Kaleb Carreon won by decision and Caleb Beach won by fall.
