HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Presidents got off to a good start with wins by fall, major decision and decision in three of the first four.
- Kaleb Carreon earned a fall (2:16) at 133 to break up the Washington and Jefferson momentum.
- Gramuglia and Grygas pinned their opponents at 157 and 165, respectively to turn a 13-6 deficit into an 18-13 lead.
- I. Mathews followed them with a 6-4 decision victory before Harblin lost a close 6-5 decision to make it 21-16 heading into the fonal two bouts.
- A. Mathews and Jones both won by fall to slam the door shut on the Presidents.
Penn College
- DeConno and I. Mathews were winners by forfeit.
- Hardin (11-5), Bressette (9-4) and Jones (10-3) all won by decision.
- Gramuglia (2:05) and A. Mathews (2:58) earned falls while Grygas scored a technical fall (17-2).
- Pacheco and Harblin were defeated by decisions.
In exhibitions, Beach won by fall and
Logan McGloine took an 11-5 decision.
