MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Sophomore netminder Steven Kozikoski earned his first collegiate shutout behind a smothering Oswego defense that only allowed 11 shots-on-goal, as the Lakers corralled the Morrisville State Mustangs, 4-0.

• The Lakers went up early in this one as senior Joseph Molinaro scored his fourth goal of the season just 2:40 into the contest.
• Molinaro's tally was assisted by Tyson Kirkby and Tanner Spink.
• Oswego got their first power-play opportunity eight minutes into the contest on a tripping call against the Mustangs.
• Forty seconds into the extra-man advantage, senior Mitch Emerson put the Lakers up 2-0 with an assist from Tyler Currie.
• Anthony Passero added one more score at the end of the period to deflate the home crowd.
• His goal was assisted by defensemen Max Novick and Tyler Antonucci.
• Senior Michael Gillespie extended his scoring streak to six games with a second-period assist to team captain Josh Zizek.
• Zizek netted his ninth goal of the season with 1:38 remaining in the second stanza.
