HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State grabbed the early momentum with an even-strength goal just a minute into the contest.
- The Lakers finally found their offensive groove as Morgan Shines scored with 4:15 left in the period.
- Her goal was assisted by Randazzo (12) and freshman Megan Teachout.
- Oswego grabbed control when Stewart scored on an assist from Teachout (15), 10:26 into the second period.
- It was a 10-2 edge in shots-on-goal for the Lakers in the second period as they took a 2-1 lead into the third.
- Midway through the third period, sophomore Emily Gustafson gave Oswego some breathing room with a power-play goal.
- Philomena Teggart and Stewart were credited with the assists on what turned into the game winner.
- The Bengals scored with 8:22 remaining as Natasha Steinle scored her team-leading ninth goal of the season.
- Farmer made four stops down the stretch and 18 total in the contest for the win.
- Oswego doubled-up the Bengals in the faceoff circle with a 34-17 advantage and led in shots-on-goal, 29-20.
