CORTLAND, N.Y. – Oswego came out firing against league-leading Cortland in taking a seven-point lead out of the gate, but the Red Dragons made two key 9-2 runs to secure a 67-47 victory over the Lakers. Senior
Sydni Eure led Oswego with her ninth double-double of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was all Oswego early on as the Lakers raced out to a 12-5 lead with 3:24 left in the opening quarter.
- Junior Taylor Torchia had five points and Eure four in the opening salvo.
- Cortland ended the quarter on a 9-2 run to even things at 14-14.
- It was another 9-2 run by the Red Dragons to start the second quarter to put them up 23-16 with 4:32 on the clock.
- Buckets by Raiven Encarnacion, Eure and Quincey Zimmerman would cut it back to 23-22 with 2:46 to go in the half.
- The hosts connected on four-straight, including a trio of 3-pointers, coming down the stretch to extend out to 34-22 at the half.
- Cortland extended their lead in the third quarter and the fourth was played evenly with both teams scoring 11 points.
- Eure (17) and Torchia (15) anchored the Oswego offense.
- The double-double for Eure was achieved with 15 rebounds while fellow senior Morgan Wolanin had 13.
