OSWEGO, N.Y. –
Graisa Madden scored a gorgeous back-heeled goal just 6:53 into the contest, but the Oswego State women's soccer team could not hold off a charge from the thirteenth-ranked Continentals of Hamilton college in a 3-1 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Madden's opening goal was assisted by senior Liz Myers and freshman Katie Delgrosso and gave Oswego the start they were looking for.
- Hamilton answered 10 minutes later on a free kick that made it through everyone and into goal.
- The visitors held a 13-2 edge in shots at the half.
- With just over 27 minutes left in the second half, Hamilton charged down the right side and earned a corner on a blocked cross.
- The Lakers were able to clear the cross back towards the sideline, but a second effort sent into the box was headed in by the Continentals right in front of the Laker goal.
- A few minutes later, freshman Gillian Groth had a key block in front of goal to keep the lead at 2-1 for the visitors.
- Ten minutes later, Hamilton found themselves in a similar position after advancing down the right side for another corner.
- This time, the corner was converted when it rebounding into goal off a hip for the 3-1 lead.
- Sophomore Haley Muehl had nine saves for the Lakers in net.
