OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team was defeated in a hard-fought, defensive battle by Fredonia. This brings their SUNYAC record to 2-2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Fredonia scored on their first shot of the game at the 5:16 mark.
- Luigina Serrao had an opportunity for the Lakers just under two minutes later.
- After multiple shots and saves for both sides, after the half the score remained 1-0.
- From 56:21-61:39 Oswego poured on the offensive pressure, recording four shots and two corner kicks.
- After the first-half goal, both teams defenses were tested throughout.
- With just 6:25 remaining Liz Myers had another grade-A opportunity for Oswego, ultimately the shot was saved.
- With a late push by the urgent Oswego offense, Fredonia continued their defense stand, holding them scoreless.
- Haley Muehl finished the contest with six saves.
- Serrao recorded a total of four shots on goal.
- Katie Delgrosso led the Lakers in shots (5), with three on goal.
- Graisa Madden and Maggie Riordan both recorded one shot in 90 minutes played.
