OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team battled back to force overtime, but lost a tough road contest to New Paltz by a 2-1 score.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams played a scoreless first half with Oswego putting on the most pressure, forcing five saves from the Hawks' keeper.
- Both teams had 10 shots in the half, with sophomore Haley Muehl notching two saves.
- New Paltz broke through in the fifty-fourth minute on an unassisted goal to take the 1-0 lead.
- For the second straight game, Maggie Riordan scored the equalizer, netting a goal on an assist from Graisa Madden with just under nineteen minutes to play.
- In the overtime period, New Paltz was able to convert a penalty kick to secure the win.
- Katie Delgrosso led Oswego in shots with five while Riordan had four.
- Muehl finished with six saves, including a pair in the overtime.
- Of their six conference setbacks, five have been by a single goal.
