OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's and women's swimming and diving teams were successful in dual meet action against Oneonta and even their 2021-22 season records at 1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The women's team won 10 of 13 events in outscoring the Red Dragons.
- Senior Grace Parente, sophomore Twyla Nastasia and freshman Alexia Lemus each were involved in three different event wins.
- Parente won the 100-yard fly, 200-yard freestyle and was in the 200-yard medley relay.
- Nastasia took first in the 500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle as well as the 200-yard freestyle relay.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay also had Lemus and she was victorious in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle races.
- Dual winners included Eva Potvin, Madeleine Crean and Allegra Neglia.
- The men's team won seven of the 13 events to edge out the Red Dragons.
- Cameron Ellis won both the 3-meter and 1-meter diving events.
- Junior Zachary Brown was first in the 200-yard medley relay, the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM.
- Freshman Simon Daw brought home top honors in the 200-yard medley relay, 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle.
WHAT'S NEXT
Both teams head north on November 6 to take on Clarkson in Potsdam with a 1 p.m. start time.
