OSWEGO, N.Y. – Four Oswego State women's basketball players scored in double figures as the Lakers made a late charge at the Mustangs in a 77-63 setback.  Senior Danielle Caivana had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Morrisville opened the game with a 22-14 advantage in the first quarter.
• The Mustangs extended their lead out to 13 before freshman Elaina Johnson scored the final four points of the half to close the lead to 39-30.
• Halfway through the third quarter, Morrisville pushed the lead back to 13 before Chastin Giles hit two three-pointers and Caivana added one to make it 54-48.
• Freshman Shania Iglesias scored the final five points of the period to make it 54-53 heading into the final stanza.
• The Lakers took a quick 55-54 lead on a Caivana layup but the Mustangs went on a 9-3 run over the next four minutes to go up 63-58.
• It was a 14-5 push in favor of the hosts down the stretch as they pulled away for the win.
• Johnson and Giles finished with 11 points and seven rebounds each while Iglesias added 10 points.
