BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's basketball team used a monster 51-point first half to dominate SUNYAC archrival Brockport on their home floor in an 85-58 victory. Freshman
Ahkee Anderson stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals in the contest to lead the Lakers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was an interesting start as four different Lakers scored to give Oswego a 9-0 lead within the first three minutes of action.
- Over the next two minutes, Brockport went on an 11-0 run to grab the lead back.
- After some back-and-forth scores, Oswego used runs of 10-1 and 14-2 to break the game open by the half at 51-26.
- The Lakers held a 28-14 rebound advantage and a 16-0 edge in second chance points at the break.
- Much like their Friday night game with Buffalo State, Oswego built up a big first half lead and then played even in the final 20 minutes of action.
- The lead grew to as much as 30 points with 4:36 remaining on an Anderson jumper.
- Oswego shot 48.6% in the game while holding Brockport to 35.4% and had a 58-32 advantage in points in the paint over the Golden Eagles.
- Anderson was one of four Lakers in double figures with Devin Green (15), Brendan Mulson (14) and Jamal Achille (12) also reaching the mark.
- Jeremiah Sparks and Mulson also tied for the team-lead with eight rebounds.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to the road next Saturday with a 2 p.m. contest at Fredonia before heading into the winter break.
