OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's lacrosse team fell to conference leader and 17th-ranked Brockport today at the Laker Turf Field by a score of 22-9. The setback evens the Lakers' overall record (3-3) and conference mark (2-2) on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego took the early lead after goalie Delaney Kendrick cleared over the top of the Golden Eagle defense to Erin Lehmann.
- Lehmann hit junior Logan Castiglione streaking down the middle for a bounced-in goal.
- Brockport answered just 16 seconds later to tie it up.
- Senior Kamryn Sherman put the Lakers back up with a free-position goal a few minute later.
- Over the next ten minutes, the visitors went on a 7-0 run to take control of the game.
- With just under 13 minutes left in the half, sophomore Sela Wiley drove down the middle, earned a free-position opportunity, and converted to stop the Brockport run.
- After a trio of Brockport goals, Shae McConnell cut into the middle to score Oswego's fourth goal, making it 11-4 with five minutes remaining in the first half.
- The Golden Eagles scored the final four goals of the half to take a 15-4 lead into the break.
- In the second half, freshman Isabella Lembo netted a pair, Sherman added a second, and Lehmann and Julia Quirk also scored for Oswego.
- Brockport held a 26-14 edge in shots-on-goal in the contest.
- Wiley notched seven draw controls and Quirk added six.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers continue to pack games in with a SUNYAC matchup with Buffalo State at 4 p.m. on Monday at the Laker Turf Field. Oswego won the first contest with the Bengals on April 10 by a score of 14-6.
