OSWEGO, N.Y. - Behind five goals and an assist from sophomore
Sela Wiley, the Oswego State women's lacrosse team halted a three-game skid by downing Buffalo State, 14-4. The Lakers improve to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers grabbed a quick 3-0 lead inside the opening five minutes of action on goals from Erin Lehmann, Wiley and Shae McConnell.
- Buffalo State answered with three of their own over the next twenty minutes of action to tie it up at 3-3.
- Wiley put two more in just before the half and freshman Isabella Lembo added one for a 6-3 home-team advantage heading into the intermission.
- Lembo and Wiley pushed the Laker lead out to 8-3 in the first ten minutes of the second half with a goal each.
- Senior Kamryn Sherman tabbed an assist on Wiley's tally.
- Freshman Katie Fierro notched an assist on Oswego's ninth goal (Wiley) for her first collegiate point.
- McConnell and Fierro extended the Oswego lead to 11-4 on goals with just over 10 minutes left in the contest.
- It was all Oswego coming down the stretch as McConnell, Logan Castiglione and Julia Quirk tallied goals.
- In net, Delaney Kendrick made nine saves to pick up the win.
- The Lakers doubled up the Bengals in shot-on-goal (26-13) and held a 13-9 advantage in caused turnovers.
