HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a pair of Golden Eagle goals, Shae McConnell scored five minutes into action for Oswego.
- Over the next 15 minutes, it was all Brockport as they went on an 8-0 run.
- The Lakers paired goals together from Lembo and Castiglione to make it 10-3.
- Brockport would net the last two of the half and the first four of the second half to pull away.
- Lembo chipped into the lead with her second goal on an assist from senior Kamryn Sherman.
- Sophomore Sela Wiley added her first of the game a minute and a half later and freshman Julia Quirk made it 16-6 with just under 15 minutes to play.
- Castiglione and Lambo made it a 5-1 run for Oswego with goals as the game clock dipped under 10 minutes remaining.
- The Golden Eagles would score the final three goals of the game.
- Wiley would lead all players with eight draw controls, but Brockport had a large advantage in shots-on-goal (31-16).
- Junior Delaney Kendrick hit double-digits in saves with 11.
WHAT'S NEXT
With the cancellation of Saturday's contest with Fredonia, the women's lacrosse team will finish regular season play on Sunday with a 1 p.m. home contest against #16 Geneseo.
