FREDONIA, N.Y. – In a rematch of a 5-4 Laker win in Oswego, the Fredonia Blue Devils evened the season series with a 7-2 victory on their home turf. The Lakers were playing their second road match in two days after a 9-0 win over Brockport on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Fredonia was able to sweep the three doubles matches to head into singles action with a commanding lead.
- At First Doubles, Bridget Bender and Miryam Makutonin were edged out, 8-6.
- Jenny Lapp/Jenna Wilson suffered an 8-3 setback and Debora Win/Alexandra Sperling were vanquished 8-4.
- In singles action, Makutonin won her fifth match of the week with scores of 6-3, 6-3.
- Sperling kept her singles unbeaten streak going with a 6-2, 6-2 outcome at Sixth Singles.
- Bender pushed her opponent to a third set in defeat with a second set victory at 6-2.
