OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team clinched a playoff spot with a 5-4 victory over Brockport at home to push their overall and conference records to 3-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Oswego won at First Doubles behind senior Bridget Bender and Miryam Makutonin.  The duo held off Brockport's top pair by an 8-7 score.
• The Golden Eagles tied the match with an 8-5 victory at second doubles over Debora Win and Alexandra Sperling.
• In singles action, Makutonin and Sperling won with matching 6-0, 6-0 scores for Oswego.
• Brockport prevailed at First, Third, and Fourth Singles.
• The Lakers gained a pair of points on forfeits at Third Doubles and Sixth Singles.
