OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State baseball team swept Fredonia in a pair of contests today to push their win streak to 16 games and improve their overall record to 17-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- Catcher Dylan Frawley led the opening game onslaught with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate, including four runs scored and a pair of RBI.
- The Lakers had 13 hits in the game, with Ryan Enos, Myles Felton and Julian Drew also recording multiple hits.
- Oswego also drew 12 walks in the game with first baseman Ryan Weiss leading the way with three.
- Anthony Van Fossen (3-0) earned the win with five innings of work, allowing a pair of earned runs and striking out four.
- Thomas Pecchia, Jake Danyluk and Jared Kwicinski allowed just one earned run over four innings to keep the Blue Devils at bay.
Game 2
- The second contest saw Brendon Frank and freshman Jacob Levine combine to go 5-for-8 at the plate to lead the Oswego offense.
- Enos and Frank Levanti each had two-RBI singles in the contest to drive runners home.
- Kieran Finnegan (4-0) went six innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out six to remain unbeaten on the year.
- The program record for consecutive wins is 18, set all the way back in 1982.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers have a rematch with Clarkson on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at home. Oswego swept the Golden Knights in the North Country, including a back-and-forth 17-13 opening game, a few weeks ago.
