  • Oswego looked to break the game open in the second when Julian Drew singled and Connor Stanton was hit by a pitch.
  • A successful sacrifice from catcher Dylan Frawley moved both runners into scoring position and Tammaro delivered a two-RBI double.
  • After a Brendon Frank foul out, Enos cracked a two-run homerun to left field to put Oswego up 5-1.
  • Just as they did in the first, Cortland used four hits and an error to tie the game back up at 5-5 in the bottom of the inning.
  • The game remained tied until the fifth when a Frank single and stolen base allowed Enos to convert the RBI single to give the Lakers a 6-5 lead.
  • In what became the theme of the game, in the bottom half of the inning, the Red Dragons used a walk and two straight doubles to retake the lead, 7-6.
  • The hosts added one more in the sixth inning for the final scoring.
  • Freshman Jai Sharma (3-2) pitched four and two thirds of an inning, yielding three runs in taking the loss.
