OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Oswego State women's tennis team defeated the Blue Devils of Fredonia today by a score of 5-4.
Miryam Makutonin was victorious in both first singles and first doubles to lift the Lakers past Fredonia.

- The Lakers and Blue Devils went back and forth in matches, ultimately Oswego was found victorious.
- Makutonin and Alyx Sperling edged first doubles to give their team the lead.
- Fredonia would take the last two doubles matches, giving them the 2-1 lead going into singles matchups.
- Makutonin swept first singles with a score of 6-4 and 6-3.
- Sperling would go on to defeat her opponent by scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
- With the final two singles matchups coming down to tiebreakers, Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou won the tiebreaker by a score of 6-4.
- Anabel Greenburg won the final match of the day to lead the Lakers to victory with scores of 6-4, 4-6 and 6-1.
